Hermès Kellymorphose jewelry set

Kelly Baguettes MM rose gold bracelet set with long stepped cut, square cut and round cut diamonds; Kelly Baguettes GM rose-gold bracelet set with long stepped cut and square-cut black spinel; Kelly Gavroche's white gold interfinger ring set with long stepped and round-cut diamonds.

Hermès unveiled this collection of jewellery pieces in the new fine jewellery collection "Kellymorphose" in 2021, inspired by the brand's classic handbag "Kelly Bag". Pierre Hardy, Creative Director of Jewelry at Hermès, ingeniously incorporates iconic elements from handbags such as swivel clasp and thin straps into the jewelry design, elegant and ornate.

The "Kelly Bag" was born in the 1930s as "Sac à dépêches" and was written by Robert Dumas, the fourth generation of Hermès. In 1956, a photograph of Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco carrying the handbag to cover her pregnancy was published in Life magazine and became a hot hit, and Hermès later renamed it "Kelly Bag".

Kelly Baguettes bracelets are based on the unique rotating clasp design of the "Kelly Bag" - the diamond-set version is laid with square-cut gemstones to form a three-dimensional clasp shape, and the bracelet wall is laid out by long stepped diamonds, which is simple and bright; The black spinel version has a wide-brimmed structure with clasp edges that preserve the stud detail of rose gold that contrasts with the deep tones of black spinel.

Kelly Gavroche's finger rings draw inspiration from the buckle straps of the 'Kelly bag' to accentuate the soft texture of leather goods. The entire ring is designed as a double-circle structure, freely shuttled between the fingers, reminiscent of the three-dimensional shape of the thin belt natural curl, and the exquisite diamond-set buckle can be seen at the top of the ring surface, which becomes the highlight of the whole work.
